The Nixa, Missouri Christmas Parade was today (December 2, 2007) and it was a blast. We had a morning that was nearly 65 degrees, and by parade time, it was in the 20's. The Ellen Mathews Float was decked out and fun was had by all. Thank you Ellen Mathews staff and PTA for having me!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Ashley and I joined about 4,000 other people for the annual Turkey Trot in Springfield, Missouri. My best friend, who for the last 20 years is more like my big brother, and his beautiful wife Cindy, convinced me to take part in this annual tradition in Springfield, Missouri. We had a blast. Although my time was nothing to boast about, I have to think I was one of the fastest walkers there.
Anyway, I had a great time hanging out with Tony, James, Cindy, Doug, Ashley and our new friend Greg. Now its time to go get some grub.
Dougs Mama, Karen is spending her thanksgiving in the hospital and I want her to know that we are praying for her recovery and love her!!!! Please keep her in your prayers.
